You can see things and say "why?" But I dream things that never were and say "why not?"

How It Works
A Personalized Experience
Broadburst's access points are strategically positioned in high traffic areas within each of its location performing constant searches for mobile devices that come within range. Mobile devices identified in the search can then be communicated with while they remain in "proximity" to the access point. Each end-user is sent a message inviting them to "opt-in", and have the option to choose to engage in the interaction with the content provider. After that point end-users can receive rich, engaging content designed to augment their consumer experience.

End-users are targeted with personalized and contextual messages and offers that suit their behaviour at the right time, in the right environment, and when they are inclined to consume more services. Messages are formatted to fit the end-users mobile phone screen enabling them to take advantage of the offer on the spot simply by pressing OK. End users can share the downloaded message using Bluetooth, leveraging the power of peer-to-peer content sharing through their mobile phones.
Broadburst's Bluetooth channel manages the delivery of multimedia content such as:
- Music downloads
- Live news feeds
- Games
- Movie trailers
- Welcome messages
- Promotional offerings/Coupons
- Web Links
- Maps/Directions
- Event schedules
- Time-based offers
To manage its network of Bluetooth Access Points, Broadburst operates a content management system (CMS) with a centralized web interface. This enables the company to deploy content and information in a unified and scheduled fashion. The CMS tracks campaign activity and user interaction and generates statistical reports for the site operator and/or advertiser. Customer interaction can be analyzed to develop detailed user profiles, which can then be used to optimize mobile advertising and marketing campaigns.
